These are your daily tasks

Focus areas   
As part of the Software Quality Assurance team, you test, provide feedback, and support the release process to help ensure the quality of our software. You bring solid expertise in GDTF, MVR, and 3D visualization, applying this knowledge to specialized topics. Additionally, you contribute to first-level support within the GDTF group. 

Tasks 
  • You review developer changes to features, approve them, and provide recommendations for improvement where needed.
  • You analyze, document, and respond to community feedback and bug reports.
  • You manage and resolve second-level technical support cases within your area of expertise.
  • You contribute to the concept and development of new features and support them through to release.
  • You assist in developing and distributing test and release builds.
  • You provide technical writers with expert knowledge and support the creation and maintenance of software documentation.
  • You review technical content and provide recommendations within your area of expertise

Your qualifications

  • You have completed vocational training, or hold a university degree, or possess extensive experience in event or lighting engineering, ideally with experience in software quality assurance. 
  • You have hands-on experience with modern lighting control systems. 
  • You possess strong analytical thinking, a structured approach, and excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • You are familiar with test plans and have a solid understanding of software development processes. 
  • You enjoy working in cross-functional teams and take a proactive approach, always keeping the bigger picture in mind to drive better outcomes. 
  • You enjoy optimizing processes and systems such as test cases, test plans, and ticket workflows.  
  • You are motivated to learn and work with our internal systems, including the ticket system, build environment, and help system.
