As part of the Web Application Development team, you develop and maintain complex web applications and services. Your responsibilities include implementing new features, creating modern and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and developing reliable back-end services and REST APIs with Node.js and PHP.

Further Tasks

• You regularly use vanilla JavaScript in projects without a framework. 
• You maintain and modernize existing applications to continuously improve their performance, security, and maintainability. 
• You ensure the scalability, security, and performance of our web solutions.
• You assist with automated testing as well as build and deployment processes. 

• You have completed vocational training, or hold a university degree, or possess a comparable qualification in the field of web development. 
• You work confidently with Git and development environments such as Visual Studio Code.

Front End

• You have extensive expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• You have experience in developing maintainable, high-performance web applications and user interfaces without the use of established frameworks.

Back End

• You have solid hands-on experience with Node.js and PHP.
• You have experience in the development, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of server-side applications.
• You bring experience with MySQL and other relational database systems.

The following qualifications are desirable but not required. 

• You have experience with server visualization and Docker containerization.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and modern development processes.
• You know how to work with Linux and Windows command line tools.

If you have experience in any of these areas, we would be delighted to hear from you. We don’t expect you to know how to perform certain tasks right away. However, we place great emphasis on team spirit, a willingness to learn new things, curiosity, and the motivation to continuously develop your skills.
